FAW Launch Football Services Centre

In its continuing efforts to improve engagement and effective support for stakeholders at all levels of the game in Wales, the Football Association of Wales is delighted to announce the launch of its new Football Services Centre.

The Services Centre will be a direct and accessible line of support for stakeholders across the game, including players, referees, coaches, club officials etc. to help with any queries or support needs that people have within the game.

Whilst the team may not have all the answers at the first point of contact, introducing this direct and designated support resource will help ensure stakeholders feel better connected to the FAW, with a bigger emphasis being placed on Customer Support to get people the help needed for the day-to-day issues and queries that arise through their involvement in the game.

With the launch of this team, you can now contact the FAW from 9am – 8pm Monday to Friday, as well as from 9am – 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. These times consider the evening and weekend nature of football activities in Wales.

“As an Association we always want to do more to help our stakeholders and become a world-leading nation in everything we do. The Football Services Centre is very much an example of this. In line with our strategy, Ein Cymru, we want to make football the most inclusive, accessible and successful sport in all parts of Cymru. Being able to service and support people effectively is a massive part of this.

Noel Mooney, FAW CEO

“Our vision is simple – a global local Wales – by supporting the local game to make this a success, it will only grow our success and togetherness to reflect and share positively on the world stage. With this launch, I am very much looking forward to seeing this move towards improving customer service for the game in Cymru and putting our stakeholders at the heart of everything we do.”

FAW President Steve Williams echoed this sentiment, stating: ‘As President of the Football Association of Wales, I am delighted to see the positive steps being taken to address the support needs of our many stakeholders in the game. These people are the lifeblood of the game in Wales and as an Association we need to do all we can to support them.

“We hope that this team can be a visible example of our commitment to our stakeholders and form an important part of a dynamic and positive period for the FAW as we continue to improve how we operate across the organisation.”
