Kit Symons to Leave Cymru Post

The Football Association of Wales can confirm that Kit Symons has left his position as the Assistant Coach to the Cymru Men’s National team.

Symons joined Rob Page’s coaching staff for the third time in May 2021, having previously been an assistant with former manager Chris Coleman. During his time with Page, Symons worked in the UEFA EURO 2020 and 2022 FIFA World Cup tournaments.

Speaking about the decision, Rob Page said “I would like to thank Kit for his hard work and contribution to the National Team over the last two years, including working in two major tournaments over that period. As we look to reach more major tournaments, change is always important to continue that development in the squad. I would like to wish Kit the very best for the future.”

The FAW would like to thank Kit for his work with the Cymru Men’s National Team and wishes him the best for the future.
