Cymru discovered their opponents for the 2022/23 UEFA EURO U17 Elite Round following today’s (8 December) draw in Nyon, Switzerland.

After finishing top of their group following a win and two draws against Croatia, Sweden, and Albania in the qualifying round, Cymru were among the 30 teams that advanced to join top seeds The Netherlands and Spain in the #U17EURO elite round draw.

Craig Knight’s under-17s were in Pot B and were drawn in Group 2 with Montenegro, Scotland and Iceland.

Cymru will host the mini-tournament during the March international window.

There are eight groups of four teams. Alongside hosts Hungary, an additional 15 teams will progress to the final tournament that will take place between 17 May and 2 June 2023.
