Women’s Club Licensing Appeals Body Decisions 2023/24

The independent Club Licensing Appeals Body met today (13 April) to consider the appeals as a result of the First Instance Body decisions on 30 March for participation in the 2023/24 Genero Adran Premier.

Appeals from the following clubs were considered:  

  • Aberystwyth Town
  • Cardiff City
  • Swansea City 

Following the conclusion of the Appeals Body meeting, the following clubs were successful with their respective appeals and were awarded a Tier 1 Licence:

  • Aberystwyth Town
  • Cardiff City
  • Swansea City 

This concludes the UEFA & Tier 1 Club Licensing cycle for participation in Tier 1 and UEFA competitions for the 2023/24 season. 

UEFA Licence for 2023/24 season (3 clubs)

  • Cardiff Met
  • Cardiff City
  • Swansea City 

FAW Tier 1 Licence for 2023/24 season (9 clubs)

  • Aberystwyth Town
  • Barry Town United
  • Briton Ferry Llansawel
  • Cardiff Met 
  • Cardiff City
  • Pontypridd United 
  • Swansea City
  • The New Saints
  • Wrexham

Refused FAW Tier 1 Licence for 2022/23 season (2 clubs)

  • Abergavenny
  • Cascade
